Having collecting a whopping $15,000 during a pandemic-impacted 2020, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Fleurieu Support Group has already kicked straight into a new year of fundraising.

The RFDS Fleurieu Support Group held a stall at Victor Harbor foreshore on Sunday, January 10.

On sale were plants, homemade biscuits and jam, RFDS merchandise, handmade cards, and other wares.

Among the members who lent a helping hand were Anne Cross, Geoff and Sandra Hewitt and Treasurer Sharon Stock.

In spite of the challenges of the past year and so many events having to be cancelled due to COVID-19, the support group managed to raise $15,000 for 2020.

The group meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Middleton Hotel at 11am.

Anyone is welcome to join the volunteer group.

The RFDS Fleurieu Support Group appreciates the community's ongoing support for the hard working volunteers and wider cause.
