Local teen critically injured after car rolls at Tooperang

An 18-year-old local woman has sustained critical injuries after her car rolled at Tooperang on Friday afternoon, January 15.

Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash on Cleland Gully Road about 12.45pm.

The driver and sole occupant, an 18-year-old Mount Jagged woman, was trapped in her Ford sedan for some time before she was safely extricated.

SA Police said she was flown to Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition.

Police closed the road for about two hours and Major Crash Investigators were called to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
