Strathalbyn man injured after two utes collide

A Strathalbyn man was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital after the ute he was driving collided with another ute at Bugle Ranges on Friday morning, September 10.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Long Valley Road just before 6am.

The 29-year-old Strathalbyn man driving one ute was trapped, and emergency service crews had to free him.

He was assessed and determined to have leg injuries but they were not considered life-threatening, and he was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

The 26-year-old Mount Torrens man behind the wheel of the second ute was not injured and did not need medical treatment.

Police closed the road in both directions between Bunnett Road and Bonython Road for several hours.
