Beth Horvath is a local writer who is motivated by the many people she has met along her journey in life.
"My poetry is about both the funny side and the sad side of life. Places in the heart. From the Aussie Bush to the bright lights of Paris," Beth said.
The book is titled 'C'est La Vie, Mon Ami, C'est La Vie'.
"It is about the places l have visited, history and of course, life itself," she said.
Beth has lived on the Fleurieu for four years, having relocated from Mt. Gambier and she is not just a talented writer, but a very accomp0lshed and professional musician.
"I like jazz, dance music, especially Latin, Sinatra classics, music from Europe, songs from stage and screen," Beth said.
"I play piano, keyboard and button accordion.
Beth was born in Broken Hill and worked in retail until moving to Adelaide where she met her first husband.
They had four children, but unfortunately the husband passed away.
Now, Beth is happy and married again to a Hungarian immigrant and they are still together.
