Mon, Nov 1 and Wed, Nov 3. Monday session at Fleurieu Environment Centre at 6.30pm-8pm, Wednesday session at Myponga Hall at 7pm-8.30pm. Learn about: bushfire behaviour and warnings, property preparation, where to go and when, and your bushfire survival plan. Register at cfs.sa.gov.au.

Tue, Nov 2. Boulevard Cafe, Encounter Bay, 12noon-3.30pm. Melbourne Cup luncheon. Tickets can be bought at the cafe at $40 each, which includes a two course menu and champagne on arrival. Best dressed award, sweeps and raffles available.
