Save yourself a trip into Adelaide to donate blood when the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood team visits McLaren Vale in December.
Lifeblood will be set up at the McLaren Vale Function Centre from Tuesday, December 7 to Thursday, December 9.
After a successful first visit in June and another in September, spokesperson Jennifer Salter hoped about 150 locals would drop in to donate.
"While we already have a permanent site at Noarlunga and we visit Victor Harbor every three months, we wanted to make donating more convenient for people living between those locations," she said.
"This is our third visit to the function centre, and we would love to see some new donors come in and roll up their sleeves.
"Blood is needed somewhere in Australia every 24 seconds. Giving blood takes only one hour of your time and it can help to save up tothree lives."
